This article should not be speedily deleted or deleted at all for lack of asserted importance because... This person was a major military figure in South Korea during the Korean War and an important Korean diplomat thereafter. There is a KO Wikipedia page for him and EN Wikipedia pages for his two other contemporary 4-star Korean War generals (Chung Il-kwon and Paik Sun-yup). Lee is as significant as either of them. Furthermore, three of his daughters and most of his grandchildren live in the United States. Because I have access to significant, otherwise unavailable information about Lee, I am singularly qualified to write this article.
